We grown-ups have different rules, shaped by social conventions, time, profession, etc. In the midst of using the best strategy to making a project work, in the urgency of it, we often overlook the simple rules, the rules of common sense. My little man told me this morning that I am not sharing, and no grown-ups will play with me if I keep it up! I was just as puzzled as you are…what do you mean, I asked. The answer was quite obvious…to him: well, if you don’t share your pictures with them, why would they give you theirs? ah…Duh!?! I could’ve thought of that, right? But I didn’t…
Lucky for me I have him to point out my flaws…and help me see how I can improve myself. So dear future enabler of a great project, I will post one picture of my own special surroundings every day to encourage you to do the same. And hopefully, you will come play with me! I promise to play fair, like a five year old! After all, I want to make my child proud!
This is my first impression of Galveston, in February, when I went for a walk on the beach across from 61st street. Those of you who know Galveston, know where that is, but if you don’t, you can Google map it, it’s really easy to find. It is a dear memory for me, as it marks the first barefoot steps into my great appreciation for this place..
