Truth about mornings

…sometimes life just happens…

live, laugh and love every minute of it!

Quotes. They are just what you see. Words on the wall. Unless…you try them out. Some work, some don’t. They all give you a different way to look at life. Through your eyes, the world is another color than mine. Blue gives the world a cooler color. Sometimes it’s really cold. Sometimes it’s simply iced…and that is perfect in the summer.

I walked the stairs up to my office, for the first time in the new year. Little feet trampled happily behind me. The sitter decided she will extend her stay in “God knows where”, and thought she share the news late yesterday. Since Marry Poppins is such a character, and even she wouldn’t have been available on such short notice, today was “take your child to work” day. Not by the boss’s rule, but since the child is the one who trained her teachers on how to access their ipads, and a whole library was available, she just let it slide.

It was great to see some of the people, after the complete oblivion of the past two weeks. But everything was strange and “brand new”. Lots of new attitutes as well. Must be the first week under the influence of the newly acquired resolution. At least it won’t last long…

I listened to a lot of nonsense, too. Some was funny, like the 80 year old lady, crawling along on the road in her Lincoln town car, not letting anyone pass her, who got all wild over a stop light and cut a mini copper off…just because…Some was sad, people gone at the wrong times, from other people’s lives, from life, from the neighborhood…lots of that…

I heard a lot of words. Some were meant. Some were said. Some were thought. Some stayed with me. Some warmed my heart. Some left my mind the minute they got through my ears…I seem to have found the perfect way to evaporate all unwanted auditory material…I’ll give you the tip soon…after I foolproof the whole science of it.

The day ended on a high note, with little feet doing the hot chocolate sweep. Tomorrow is another day. And more words. Some feelings. Lots of thoughts. And a little bit of difference. Too much change is not realistic…or at least so they say..
